Dr. Clarissa D. Glover-Danque, an optometrist here in Yuma, Arizona, grew up in Lead, South Dakota and received her Bachelor of Science in zoology and physiology from the University of Wyoming. She went on to earn her doctorate in optometry from the Illinois College of Optometry in 2002. Dr. Glover then completed a residency in primary eye care at the Tuscaloosa Veterans Affairs Medical Center through the University of Alabama at Birmingham.
Dr. Glover began her career in Florida at the Pensacola Veterans Medical Center, where she met her husband. In 2008, Dr. Glover's husband received a transfer to Arizona, which led her to join the Aiello Eye Institute — furthering her knowledge in ocular disease diagnosis and management. She stayed with Aiello Eye Institute for 4 years before relocating to the eastern coast of North Carolina in 2012. There, she was employed by MyEyeDr.
Finally, in June 2016, she returned to Arizona and rejoined the Aiello Eye Institute family. When not practicing optometry, she enjoys spending time with her 2 young children and her husband.
